Kris Limanni - School Clerk

I graduated from DePaul University and began my career as a Contracting Officer for the Federal Government. Teaching, however, has always been in my heart. I love to work with students of all ages. After staying home with my three children for a while, an opportunity arose to work at Thorp! I am so excited to be here. I have been working with the Middle School Team for the past 4 years. I’m always trying to learn things that will help me teach. I went back to school to earn my LBS1 and ESL Endorsements to help me work with our Diverse Learner and English Language Learner students.   

I have recently changed roles and now I am a Clerk here at Thorp.  I look forward to the many jobs this role involves.  I especially love the interactions I have between students, staff, and parents.   Come and visit me in the office.  You're always welcome!

When I’m not in school, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy reading, cooking, taking long walks, and watching movies of all kinds, and I love to play board games! My favorite thing is to hang out with my kids, and play with my dog Nana (rhymes with banana); she thinks she’s a person! I’m looking forward to the school year and to helping our kids to grow!
