Ms. Sotelo 206

My name is Nereida Sotelo, this will be my 7th year teaching at Thorp! I just finished my Master's in Bilingual Education at Saint Francis University over the summer, I am excited to apply what I learned to better support the diverse population of students we have at Thorp.

I can't wait for another year of teaching Math to my 3rd and 4th graders, it is truly an amazing experience to watch them develop into strong mathematicians. 

When I am not teaching I am spending time with my daughter, Sophia and my partner Max. We have 2 dogs, Molly and Lucy and a brand new kitten named Luna. We love to visit the library, go on hikes through nature preserves, and spend a lot of time outdoors.
