Dear Families,
Aladdin
Please join us tonight at 6:00 for the evening performance of Aladdin. The students had a chance to see it today, and the reviews have been amazing. You have to see it. The event is free, but donations will be collected to support this outstanding program. Thank you so much to the staff, parents, and students who have put so much effort into this production.
Auditorium Protocols
You will also get a chance to test drive our new seats! Thank you to Friends of Thorp! NO FOOD OR DRINKS in the auditorium (adults and children).
Winter Fest
Tomorrow, we will have Winter Fest from 11:00-1:00, there will be student creations to be purchased, faces to be painted, food to be enjoyed, and pictures with Santa and the Grinch to be completed. Come on in!
Arrival/Dismissal Etiquette
We know morning and afternoon traffic can be stressful, but we are seeing instances of unneeded aggression between parents and towards staff as well. Please conduct yourselves so that we are role models to our students .
Due to staff illnesses, sometimes Warwick may not be closed off. There still should be NO drop off on Warwick, as that is reserved for students with specific mobility issues. Thank you for your understanding.
As a reminder, our doors open at 7:00 and there is no traffic at that time. Please drop your child off and go enjoy a cup of coffee in peace.
Starting next week, teachers will be directed to drop off students left after 2:30 (any amount of minutes) to After Care. Parents will be charged 30 dollars a day. We do have a one hour program for a reduced rate. Please keep this in mind if picking your child up at dismissal is difficult.
Winter Assembly:Friday, December 20th
There will be performances at 8:30 and 1:15. All classrooms will perform at each showing, so parents can pick either one. There will be limited seating on the floor and the balcony will be available as well. More floor seating will be available at the 1:15 performance.
