Thorp Families,
The 2nd annual Thorp International Day Assembly is on Friday, November 22nd. There will be two performances. A morning performance from 10:15-11:00 and an afternoon performance from 12:00-12:45. Please note: Kindergarten will be performing at 10:15 ONLY. The assembly will be recorded and shared as well.
The second quarter after school clubs start next week. If your child was accepted for a club you should have received a notice. If they weren’t accepted to a club this quarter they will be put on the list for next quarter.
The Student Council is holding a food drive next week for a local food pantry. If you are able to, please send canned goods, cereal, peanut butter, and other non perishable items. The class that collects the most goods will win a class party.
Basketball tryouts are next week for 5-8th grade students. Students are able to sign-up for tryouts via Google classroom.
Thorp Kindergarten students’ holiday ornaments are being displayed at the Harlem and Irving Mall. The ornaments are hung by Target and Zales. If you are at the mall this weekend take a look at the awesome ornaments.

Fall Bingo Night is here! Monday, November 18th at The Brig. 5748 W. Lawrence Ave. Doors open at 6PM and we’ll start playing at 7pm. Tickets are $10 and all sales help fund 7th and 8th grade trips. Tickets can be purchased on our website.
Winter Fest is December 7th, at school, from 11am - 1pm
Calling all crafty students! Student Entrepreneur table sales are open for reservation for only $10. Make sure to reserve your table now as this always sells out!
PTA family photos on November 16th have been canceled. There is no official make-up date yet. However, it should be in early 2025.
