The Thorp Saturday Student Success Seminar is for students in third through eighth grade with a “C” or lower grade in Reading, Writing, Science, Math, and/or Social Studies. We will be focusing on a number of student related topics: S.O.S. – Student Organizational Skills; Student Goal Setting; Motivation at School and Toledo’s Tips for Success.
A recap of each of the presentations as well as copies of the handouts will be posted on this page for reference right after the seminar. The first 35 families to attend will receive Mr. Toledo’s “secret weapon” in helping students succeed. Parents are welcome to bring their 3rd to 8th graders, but this will be a workshop style seminar and small children should be left at home if possible.
The general session will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. in the auditorium (doors will open at 7:45 a.m.) Please do not be late. Parents will be broken up into 4 groups by last name:
