I have been teaching for 12 years ranging from early childhood to 5th grade. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Northeastern Illinois University. I hold an endorsement for teaching English Language Learners from the American College of Education and I have my Learning Behavior Specialist endorsement from St. Francis University. As a strong advocate for encouraging children to reach their greatest potential and develop positive self-esteem, I allow children to increase their capacity to think, reason, question, and experiment. I also believe that children should develop an awareness and appreciation of art, music, creative thinking, and dramatic play.
