A message from Office of Academic Enhancement:
STILL TAKING IB APPLICATIONS – 8th grades will have a copy of this home in their backpacks Monday.
Attached please find the second-round application for International Baccalaureate (IB) High Schools that still have seats available for the 2015-2016 school year. Please note the following:
(1) If a student previously applied to an IB High School and did not get an offer, he/she does not need to reapply to that school. It is possible that the student can still receive a offer from that school. (2) If the student is interested in a school to which he/she did not originally apply, the student should complete the application and submit it DIRECTLY TO THE SCHOOL. Selection is based on the school’s cutoff score. There is no limit to the number of schools to which the student can apply; however, the student must submit an application to each school in which he/she is interested. (3) If the student has already attended an IB Information Session for the 2015-2016 school year, he/she does not have to attend an additional session. (4) There is no deadline on the application; however, schools will make offers only until all available seats have been filled.
Also, please note that additional options for fall 2015 can be found on the Office of Access and Enrollment website, www.cpsoae.org, under the ‘Options’ tab. This page will be updated periodically as our office continues to gather information regarding schools that still have seats available.
If you have any questions, as always, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
