Welcome Eighth Grade Students and Families!
We have so much important information to share!

8th Grade Montage

Eighth graders and Parents – we’re working on our class video montage. Please send us pictures that show you growing up throughout the years. This is presented during the 8th grade graduation ceremony and luncheon.

Once again, DO NOT BRING in any physical pictures to the school. Just take a picture with your cell phone and upload it to this form or you scan a photo from home and upload it here.

Please note we may use the baby photos in our yearbook. ALL pictures will need to be submitted NO LATER THAN March 31st, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Important Dates:

8th Grade Pictures:  Friday, February 21st, 2020 (Retakes, March 13th, 2020)

RESCHEDULED 8th Grade Overnight Trip (Camp Manitoqua): Monday, April 27th – Tuesday,  April 28th, 2020

8th Grade Graduation Trip (Milwaukee, WI):  Thursday, June 4th, 2020
8th Grade Service Field Trip: June 8th, 2020
8th Grade Dress Rehearsal:  Thursday, June 11th, 2020

Graduation Luncheon:  Thursday, June 11th, 2020 (Porretta’s Banquet)
Graduation Day/Dance:  Friday, June 12th, 2020

Graduation Fees:

Mandatory Graduation Fee $40.00 – (Fees due no later than May 1st, 2020)
(Includes Cap and Gown, Diploma Cover, 2 sets of Ribbons, Graduation Tickets and Class Gift)

Optional Fees:

Autograph Book $10.00 (NO ORDERS WILL BE TAKEN AFTER FEB 28TH –  NO EXCEPTIONS)

8th Grade Graduation Trip – $100.00 (This trip is optional and not included in Student Fee)

(A deposit of $25.00 will be required by February 28th – final payment due no later than May 1st)

8th Grade Commencement DVD $20.00
Yearbook Dedication:  $25.00 a ¼ page, $50 Half page, or $100 full-page ad. (ORDERS MUST BE IN BY MARCH 31ST)

(Credit Card payments can be made via our website on E-pay. Cash or Money Orders are taken in the office – Partial payments accepted).

Commencement Ticket Policy:

Students receive 5 tickets each.  Tickets must be presented at the door, all participants attending including infants and children must have a ticket by Ordinance of the City of Chicago Fire Department.  Siblings of graduates will attend Graduation Dress Rehearsal to avoid missing a day of instruction.

Please note: Requests will be handled on a first come/first serve basis.  Tickets will be distributed 2-3 days prior to the graduation; students will be asked to write their name on the back of each ticket and ticket number as well.  Please DO NOT email Mrs Sanabria directly for request, she will only accept request via the request form.

Student Committee: Join our Afterschool Club to help organize all graduation activities.

Parents – Our 8th Grade Student Committee will be collecting Baby Pictures, and Pictures (3 photos one from each of the following stages of their life:  K to 2nd, 3rd to 5th, 6th to 8th) to share with our 8th grade montage video to be displayed during 8th grade commencement and student luncheon.
