Last week we sent home ISAT scores for all students in grades four to eight. I am happy to report that we saw gains across the grade levels in our overall Reading and Math composite. In our Science scores we had a 3% gain in students meeting or exceeding standards. For more information please visit http://iirc.niu.edu
MAP Testing for grades K-2 will conclude next week. The rest of the school will have their MAP tests in November. Parents, this year CPS is measuring student progress on NWEA from the spring of last year to the spring of this year. Each student will once again receive an Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) that will be distributed next week. (If you would like to see the generic ILP’s please visit our website: http://oathorpacademy.org/individualized-learning-paths/). We will once again have a parent information meeting once we are closer to our testing session.
Many parents have been asking about afterschool programs. Our After-school and Saturday school programs will begin in two weeks. Student sign-ups will be sent home next week. Park district busing will also begin next week. Please see the form sent home today.
