FALL SPORTS UPDATED SCHEDULES

 

PICTURE - FALL SPORTS

Flag Football Schedule:

5th/6th grade games will start at 4:30 p.m. 7th/8th grade games will start at 5:30 p.m.

Monday 9/22 – Game – Bridge @ Thorp (Merrimac Park) –  6343 W. Irving Park Rd.

Wednesday 9/24 – Game @ Norwood Park – 5900 N. Nina Ave. (The field is behind the school)

Monday 9/29 – Game – Hitch @ Thorp  (Merrimac Park) –  6343 W. Irving Park Rd.

Wednesday 10/1 – Game @ Oriole Park – 5430 N. Olcott Ave.

Monday 10/6 – Game @ Portage Park – 4100 N. Long Ave.

*For Home Games at Merrimac Park – The team will walk together to Merrimac Park after school at 3:00 p.m. to practice until the game starts.

*For Away Games – The team will practice after school on the West Field until 3:45 p.m.

*All students are responsible for their own rides to the away games and getting picked up at the away school/field. Students can car pool with other students if necessary. Students must be picked up at 3:45 p.m. for away games.

*Games may be done as early as 5:00 p.m. for the 5th/6th graders, so parents must be at the field by 5:00 p.m.

*Games may be done as early as 6:00 p.m. for the 7th/8th graders, so parents must be at the field by 6:00 p.m.

 

Network 1 Boys Soccer 2014

5th/6th grades will play first if there are two games scheduled.

9/23 Thorp at Reinberg – 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

9/25 Thorp at Dever – 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. (Shabbona Park – 6935 W. Addison)

9/30 Bridge at Thorp – 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. (Shabbona Park – 6935 W. Addison)

10/2 Thorp at Hibbard – 4:30 p.m. 5th/6th only

10/7 Thorp at Prussing –  4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

* Please bring $10.00 for your T-shirt so you can have your shirt for the game on Tuesday.

 

Tryout forms are on the website. You can find it on the sports page or Ms. McGoldrick’s page.

If you do not have access to a computer make sure you stop in the Gym and get a form from Ms. McGoldrick.

You need a form to tryout.

  1. Why we don’t have soccer for girls?
    My daughter has been playing since 5 yrs old but I dont see that the school have soccer for girls. In this case, should she participate with the boys since you dont have for girls?
